I'm a second generation Registered Hereford breeder. My family has been raising registered Herefords for over fifty years now. You might of done business with my father over the years, Rob Hooper of Hooper Herefords in Springerville, Az. We started our own registered Hereford operation in 1987 out here in New Mexico. In 1996 we started our registered Black Angus herd with six registered yearling heifers and a bull. We now run around forty registered Black Angus cows and sixty registered Hereford cows. Our cow herd has always been natural bred, no A.I. and our sale cattle are raised with the commercial cattleman in mind so they will work for them. We have always kept records on every calf born here such as birth weights, calving ease and weaning weights and turned all the information on all the cattle raised here into the breed associations which makes our TPR & EPD records on our cattle more accurate. Our reputation for being honest is second to none.
